Hello!I'm super excited to be writing this, even though it's
really just an online diary to myself(!).
Anyways, since there is currently snow
lying on the ground right now, I decided to do a post about my top 5 tips for
staying warm...
1. Wear your woollies - They may be baggy or itchy but trust me here: you'll be
warm and at that point (especially if you live in Scotland) you will not give
a care about what you are wearing.

2.Have a hearty meal - There's nothing better than having a plate of steaming
family food, whether it's corn beef hash to start and then rhubarb crumble with
custard to finish. It will leave you feeling warm inside too.
3.Hot drinks - Nothing screams " warming up" better than a

tea
or coffee. I happen not to drink either but I do particularly like to indulge
in a milky hot chocolate (actually quite often!) My favourite at the moment
happens to be 'Options Belgium Instant
Hot Chocolate' which I am quite partial to.Starbucks chai lattes are popular
with me too.
4.Cosy up in your room - On a chilly winters day (i.e. today😜)
I like to turn on my fairy lights and enjoy the feeling of relaxing on my bed.
Peering out from your bedroom window, all warm,looking out at the lashing rain,
frantic winds or sleet just makes me feel grateful that I am lovely and warm in
my house,as supposed to being freezing outside it.
5. Embrace it - For my last tip;I decided to think outside the box a
little bit for this one. Seeing the bitter coldness outside instead of
reminding me that winter is not over yet, just reminds me that I can still rock
my cozy snoods and hats without sweating like mad. If winter is here to stay-
